Secondary afterburning system. After burning firewood, saturated smoke is drawn to the chimney by traction force. So a lot of heat gets uselessly into the chimney, as well as a lot of solid particles of unburned fuel. A deflector is installed on the path of this flow, which slows down the speed of smoke emission, additional air is directed into the smoke below the level of the reflector, and afterburning occurs. The result is more heat and cleaner smoke. In addition, this system allows you to adjust the speed and visual effects of combustion – the play of the flame. For this we use vermiculite reflectors on a boiler steel frame. The size and angle of the reflector is important.⠀
